Anyone here have experience with this type of dry bag? I'm looking to outfit a bunch of kayaks with small dry bags and these seem to be economical and waterproof.

I have used the roll down dry bags, and these aloksaks seem easier and cheaper.

I use these outdoors in Alaska and have found them to actually meet the manufacturer's claims. It's surprising how strong they are even when crammed in a pack or cargo pocket. They hold up well even with hard objects and square edges in cold weather and the seal is strong and waterproof. Much stronger and more waterproof than a ziplock freezer bag. I got mine from:

Might be good for a cell phone bag. I use them for anything small and critical where I want waterproof and reusable storage (first aid, etc). Pretty reliable piece of kit.

Thanks for the reply.

They do look great. I want to get about 12 medium sized ones to let guests pack their cells and cameras in on kayak trips so it looks like this will do the trick and at a fraction of the cost of buying roll down dry sacks.
