Sen. Obama's jet

This morning I saw a picture of the airplane Senator B. Obama et al. was in at 2:30 A.M. when the pilot struck the wing of a parked airplane while taxiing into parking. I did as usually do when I see the tail number of a plane that is involved in an incident, I go on FAA.gov and do a search of the number to see who owns it.

N747NB is owned by Long Charter Air, LLC of Lithonia, GA, which happens to share the address of The New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, which is the church of Bishop Eddie Long. Bishop Long is the buttbuddy of Rev. (Dr.) Creflo Dollar of the ultra-mega church here in Atlanta. Let's see, it's Sunday. Turn your TV on and you will probably see Dr. Dollar trying to bilk what is left of some old folks SS check to finance his super extravagant life style.

Long and Dollar are both under investigation by the US Senate for possibly illegally using tax free church money to buy all kinds of ultra expensive stuff, including PRIVATE JETS. Senator Grassley wants to see the churches financial records to insure the preachers are not abusing their tax free status. Someone may now want to see if Senator Obama is using his position to influence the investigation.

Bishop Long's airplane, it's maintenance records, charter certificate (FAR part 135), if any, pilots fluid samples (urine, etc.) will be scrutinized. As will the agreement for Sen. Obama's use of the airplane.

What will be very instructive will be the reaction of the MSM to the story. :munchin

The link below is to a report on the FAA's website. Note that out of 15 aircraft mentioned on the report, only Sen. Obama/Rev. Eddie Long's aircraft registration is listed as UNK (unknown). Since Secret Service agents were on board the aircraft at the time of the incident, I'm betting a month's retirement pay that the FAA knows the N-number. UNK my what? Is anyone feeling warm in this senate chamber, or is it just me?

Not bad for an old jet owned by a Bishop. He probably only flew it to the Bahamas on Sunday's.;)

Now I have nothing against the ownership and use of private jets. I was in the corporate aviation business for several years. I am just concerned about the posibility of a conflict of interest.
