Johnny Bain was my Team Sergeant, and the best Soldier I ever had the honor to serve under. A little guy with a big heart and a warriors soul, he epitomized the best that our service has ever produced. He set a strong example for us youngsters to follow and he is still missed.
Rest in Peace John.
Rest In Peace and Thank You.

John put me in the Arrmy back in late 74 when he was working as a recruiter in Iowa City, Iowa. Who could not be impressed by this man of slight build wearing his jump boots and Green Beret. He was full of life and one could tell it just by looking at him. Rest In Peace John!

Rest in Peace Warrior. Prayers out to family and friends.
I met John back in the mid 90's when a bunch of us from Carson went up to Wyoming for a layout during Cheyenne Frontier days. He and the Cowboy Chapter took very good care of us. Great guy he’ll be missed. RIP John

Rest In Peace John. The world is a colder and smaller place without you in it.
John and Jerry B. and I were charter members of CH 71 SFA, formed up in Cheyenne.
