View Full Version : HOME! Finally....

Finally over....16 Sep '06 to 24 Dec '07.

Boy is it wonderful to be back home! :D
Those of you who took your personal time to write to me and pray for my safe return...thank you.

The progress that I was witness to, during one of the bloodiest and deadliest years in Iraq, was remarkable. There will always be the naysayer who believes their own version (or the media) - but I can say without a doubt that the United States of America, my America, is helping Iraqis make Iraq a better place.

There is still much to do, and many of our men and women are doing it. Thank one of them if you see them. Pray for all of them that you don't.

Are you wearing your reflective belt when walking outside your house, keeping your right hand free, and collecting for stashes when you visit the market?

Eagle - great to hear you are back home in the U.S. I send you greetings from the Pacific NW - home of First Group - and your former digs. You moved too quickly though - Cabelas opened a store in Lacey, WA.

It looks like the Sonics will be coming to a city closer to you in the near future. Who needs 'em anyway- the WSU Cougars are ranked in the Top Ten of NCAA hoops. :)

Take care and enjoy the holidays in the Land of the Free (thanks to you and others like you).
