I'll be starting the Q in May and decided to invest in a camper during my tenure. I researched the surrounding area and found a few campgrounds in every corner of post. Is there a particular area that is best suited for attending Q school (i.e. it is closer to the training area; shorter drive) and are there certain areas to steer clear of?
Thanks...

Check with Raeford Drop Zone and see if they will let you stay there.

Might want to give them a call. It's close.

See if they have weekly or monthly rates. $15 a night would be $450 a month but then no electric or water bill.

+1 on Smith Lake. One of the guys on my contract is living there in an RV. $450 a month, convenient to post, no utilities. It's NOT a KOA or equivalent, but then again you won't have time to worry about the amenities anyway.
