I wanted to put this in the early bird thread but someone got up earlier. Do you suppose these troops were trained by the 7th?

I'm sorry I screwed up the Link. It is OK now. That's a hell of a knife that corporal has!

The El Salvadoran battalion, the Batallón Cuscatlán, is a composite unit. The current contingent is made up of troops from:

- Comando de Fuerzas Especiales
- Comando de Apoyo de Transmisiones
- Comando de Ingenieros
- Brigada Especial de Seguridad Militar (BESM)
- Comando de Sanidad Militar
- Brigada de ArtillerÃ_a
- Regimiento de CaballerÃ_a
- Grupo de Operaciones Especiales
- Comando de Apoyo LogÃ_stico

Several of these units have received training from the US.

Hard as woodpecker lips.

It would seem he knows his enemy well enough to understand that if he had surrendered he would have been tortured and killed.

Great fighting spirit!

The El Sal's are great. Some of the best Helo pilots I work with are from there. They have a "leave no one behind" ethic that rivals our own.

What model of knife is that in the newspaper story? Hard to ID from just the blade.

Sir, I am surprised that you do not recognize your own progeny.

Do you not see enough of the grip to tell in the upper pic, on the front of his vest?

Move to a free state and you can have your very own. Im in the process of getting one as we speak. Yes they are a DD, but there is no transfer tax on Non HEDP rounds, so its not that bad.

He lives in Kalifornia, he should just get a .50 while he still can and enjoy shooting it. That thing will put a real smile on your face too.

If they are outlawed there, he can always sell it and get his money back.

Hmmmm. LOL

You wouldn't believe what I am going through just to purchase a pistol. I'll probably need counsel to close a deal for a .50!

All kidding aside, I'll hold off on more exotic toys until I learn to competently use the ones I have. I'm working on that as we speak.
