I need a Light, Any suggestions?

Gentlemen,

As a Combat Engineer, going abroad soon, I will be needing a good flashlight. I'm looking for something that's sturdy enough to handle just about anything oef will dish out. I'm looking for personal experiences, reasons why I might need one with stronger lumens, led vs. incandesent (sp?).

I would use the Search button and look for "flashlight". "Surefire" would be another good one.
