Is there any information about Gordie (his driver)? "Gordie", anyone who knows him would know his nickname, is my uncle and I lost touch with him a bit after he graduated from QC last Febuary. So far, the family has gotten some contact from him since the incident, but not much on my side of things. I know he received shrapnel in his knees, shoulder, and parts of his face, and that he said he would remain with his team, but if anyone else can PM me some information I would like to know. If not, that's okay, I understand OPSEC and PERSEC easily enough.

1. This is a memorial thread for CPT Tiffner.

2. We do not know you from Jack.

3. PERSEC being what it is, if he is a family member of yours, you shouldn't have to ask strangers for info about him.

Would another thread be appropriate?

We were in SERE together... An all-around good guy with a great attitude. What a shame... My thoughts go out to his family, friends, and teammates.

I haven't joined in any conversations previously on this board, but I suppose now is as good a time as any. Ben was my cousin, and I wanted to thank those of you who have paid your respects. I will be giving to SOWF as a "remembrance", and if any of you are in a position to do so, I would greatly appreciate it if you could give my regards and thanks to those he served with. If there are any other charities or ways to "help out" you gentlemen would like to recommend, please do. Thanks for reading.

RIP Ben.
