Just wanted to say you guys have one hell of a nice base up here. Puts a lot of AF bases to shame, definitely has the best gym I've ever seen on an installation. Anyways, I might drop by one of the recruiting briefs on Wed. if we aren't caught up in training. I was supposed to be going on terminal leave in DEC, but I volunteered for one more deployment, so I'm extending. Won't be until early 2009 before I'm green now. Catch you guys later.

You're talking about McChord AFB next to Ft.Lewis or just comparing Ft.Lewis to AFB's across the nation??

I'm actually staying on Ft. Lewis right now (rustic white building style). I'm comparing it to all the installations I've been on period. Army, Navy, AF, or Marines. It's damn nice. The ranges and range personnel have been fantastic too.

We have wireless internet, hot water, and the chow halls are close.
I just wish I knew how old these racks are; definitely not the newest technology in back support :lifter
