3rd or 5th?

Currnetly out and working as a Deputy Sheriff. I am ramping up to hop back in (full time/active duty) and may have the option of 3rd or 5th Grp. Who is where right now, who is being left alone, who is being treated fairly and what is Campbell like? I have a feel for Bragg. I am an 18E with French. I lean towards 5th at the moment. Would a brother rather be pullin duty in Iraq or Afghanistan at the moment, in the long haul?
