You planned to vote for Clinton. But based on your responses, your top candidate for 2008 is below.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R)
83.33% match

Who knew I was a Republican. Guess I'm voting Giuliani now. He's for waterboarding captives, and so am I.

A little fun to do but a little early in the campaign season.

I picked Fred but matched up with Tom Tancredo at 83.12%.

You want to see something scary? Look at the composite candidate. See the number of Ds at the top.

We are living in the tipping point times. People might argue about which exact year it was but the majority of the people are speaking about what they want from the goverment and it will try any give it too them - OUR MONEY.

This would be more fun when it's down to the final two.

I had an 86.11% match with Tancredo! Very interesting. I've never looked at him seriously. I wonder what it would take to get a match with Thompson or Romney since my "other top candidates" were:

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney (R) - 83.33%
California Representative Duncan Hunter (R) - 80.56%
Former Tennessee Senator Fred Thompson (R) - 75.00%

I'm curious how they break down their distinctions especially between "high, medium and low" issues.

Fred- 86%

I can't say that the number of folks on this board coming up with a common result is all that surprising;)

I got Fred with a 95%. Notice most people just use Fred when referring to him.
So will we be hearing. President Elect Fred, Commander and Chief Fred, The Fred Administration, The swearing in of Fred, The Fred Doctrine, Hail to Fred, Fred's War on Terrorism, Fred Policy.

I also picked the most liberal choices I could and got Kucinich 100%

The most socialist I got Shilliary with Osama a close second.

This is how Presidents or at least party candidates should be elected. You go into a booth and answer questions. Problem is, most Americans would need the questions to be put in some type of American Idol format.

WTF ? I came up Duncan Hunter @ 94.58 %

GITMO ? Yes Importance ? High

Waterboarding captives ? Sure, every day, ten times a day, until they shit their pants, piss themselves, and start singing.

Iran Military Action ? You bet ! Importance ? Do I have to actually answer that ?

Egging Hillary when she visits hometown ? Yep, you bet, a dozen and I'm not throwing them, Birdman has a new weapon systems platform for rotten egg launching.

It's got to be in the nuances and clearly the lesser known candidates like Hunter and Tancredo are conservative too - but in this polls scoring mechanism they place higher values on some of these issues then the more major contenders. But obviously TR and Thompson see eye to eye!

Shar, I believe you are correct. I was a strong match with Fred. Change the "strength" of some of the issues and I flop to Duncan Hunter with Thompson a close second.

I came up as a match for Colorado Representative Tom Tancredo.
Now I have to google his guy to find out who he his.
I could give a crap about the rest of the issues as long I as can own guns with no restrictions, the Patriot Act and No Child Left behind are abolished and we keep waterboarding those terrorists.

This was a lot of fun. Thanks for posting it BMT.

Tancredo 96.7%??? I really don't even know that much about him.....I have tried to avoid watching the elections...they started WAY too soon this time. So, do the 2012 elections start Mid November '08???

Former Tennessee Senator Fred Thompson (R) - 88.68%
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney (R) - 87.74%
California Representative Duncan Hunter (R) - 86.79%

I could live with any of those....anyone but Hillary or Obama.

Cool Survey, thanks.
