As this section of the forum is supposed to host recomendations of books you have read, I'm not sure it is appropriate for me to post a request of recommendations instead, if not so I do apologize and please disregard this thread.
Fact is at the end of the month I'll be in London for a few days and I usually take advantage of my trips there to buy books that have not been and likely will not be published in Italy (and that is usually a very long list), which thing saves me a lot of money in Amazon's shipping rates.
Thus, as I have received very good book recommendations on this board in the past, if anybody has got some good book to suggest (especially on the subject of SF, SOF, the war on terror, war in general, history, international politics and so on) I'll be grateful.
Also if there's any book that you WOULD NOT suggest buying, I'll be as much grateful. It is not infrequent for non-military types like me to be misguided into buying piles of rubbish. Over the years I've developed a certain instinct, but I still manage to waste my share of good money on them.
Thank you.
