That's a great introduction to the subject - I've downloaded the PDF. Thank you, Sir!

Thanks BMT....I still get a chuckle over the fact these are referred to as CRS Reports to Congress....:D

Let's see.
AF begs for more aircraft in an information paper.
Marines have to explain being kicked out of country.
Typos in a briefing to Congress.
Who put this POS together? Andrew Feickert, Defense Specialist, needs to learn some more before he issues any more papers.

I deal with this sort of stuff daily..."Generally free of errors" would be a step up.
"But,but, but...I used spell-check, isn't that enough? "

Having been inside CRS a few times, I was underwhelmed. They aren't exactly a major think tank. The reports they produce are LCD stuff, not necessarily controversial or insightful, but intended to provide basic background to otherwise ignorant Congressmen (who don't mind posturing in spite of their ignorance).
The Air Force must be doing a better job selling itself in the source material.
What makes typos even more egregious is that this is not the first version of this report. CRS comes out with an updated SOF profile every few months.
