I need to begin rucking, therefore I need a good pair of boots. I have a problem in that I wear a size 16 or 17, which I have found to be close to impossible to find a good combat boot in either size. I have researched the boots recommended on other threads on here, and the biggest size I have found is a 15. Do any of you gentlemen have the same problem? If so, where do you find big sizes in really good quality combat boots?

Also, off topic... Has anyone tried the 5.11 tactical holster shirt? Seems like a great idea especially for biking, running, or rucking. Just wondering how well a small pistol, like a Khar p9 might stay in it.

Thank you in advance,

Hoss

You might want to call one of the boot companies like Belleville or Bates and talk to them about the boot sizing. My husband wears a size 15 shoe but he wears a size 13W boot. It is my understanding that combat boots are sized differently than normal shoes but I'm not an expert I just know how it works in my household.

In any case, your boot size might not be as big as you think.
