This is a true statement. I have 3 wars 4 if you count Bosnia twice, and 6 deployments. Each time you come back it is different, things change and you have to try and adjust. Often times I find myself more comfortable in other countries than in the states. People change and the world keeps going but you missed much of what happen in the states. Then people look at you strange when you ask common place questions that everybody knows but you. I would like to point out the it is the soldiers you served with that will be the ones that will help you get through it. I personally have driven across the country for a few days to drink with a friend to help him with his personal demons.
