I just can't get into that show. It's really poorly done, IMHO. While I agree with some of the points that they are trying to make, the skits are so poorly done that I turn the channel.
Content aside, it's like the Dollar Store version of The Daily Show.

You mean the pseudo "outstanding reporting" on the Daily Show? The "how liberal was my valley" John Stewart-all conservatives are silly and stupid-Daily Show? Puh-LEASE!

Well all know that the Daily Show is a liberal comedy show, I never said it was an actual news program or that it was unbiased. I just believe in giving credit where credit is due, and, content aside , it is a really, really well written and done comedy show.
The 1/2 Hour News hour (or whatever it is called) is a blatant attempt to copy the success of the Daily Show............ in my opinion, it is not nearly as well done. Not even in the same league. The writing and actors are third rate, the dialogue is so heavy handed that it's embarrasing, and the gags are way too predictable. IMHO, it's not nearly as witty or well written.
That's just my take on the show.... I think it sucks. I think that the Daily Show is much more well done. That doesn't mean that I agree with the views put out by the Daily Show, or disagree with those on the Foix show, just that I think one is a much better production than the other..... and the ratings indicate that many people agree.
I watched the Daily Show from the beginning. They were just as hard on the Clinton Admin as they are the Bush Admin. It does lean left with John Stewart but remember it is the Fake News Channel. He also rips the Dem's pretty hard on their do nothing policies.
