I haven't seen a review of this book, and in light of the recent thread about the illegal immigration deal, thought this might be an interesting read. Essentially the book reviews the various back-handed deals politicians engage in with private industries, making private industry more important to an elected official than the voting public. It also demonstrates how the MSM is complicit in helping these deals go through by focusing on relatively unimportant stories while news that impacts every American is largely unreported. I thought I knew about lobbying and corruption before reading this book, but my eyes were really opened.
