I came across the following item on the internet; it purports to be written by someone located in Baghdad. I lack the knowledge to determine if the representation is true.

I post this with some hesitation; I do not believe it violates OPSEC, and I do not perceive it as being disrespectful of U.S. forces or leadership - but my perceptions may be flawed. So if those with better insight think that I have posted inappropriately, it would be appreciated if they would delete the post.

Of course, my hope is that some with a better background in the subject than I will provide their insights.

So now that you've talked 360 degrees around the link what is it you want to know?

Seems to me a spinless mouthpiece (correspondent) wrote about an issue (he/she earns a living from) and has little desire to actually get involved to help the people. Watch cnn, you'll see it every hour.

Thank you, sir, for your insights. I had not considered the piece (nor, for that matter, CNN broadcasts) with that perspective in mind.

He writes like he wishes he had stayed at The Rolling Stone.
