Ask your CSM.

I wonder if this knife will be offered to members of SFA Chapter XVI? (16) If so, I'd be interested. :munchin

We have to send the Black Helicopters after you now, sorry Bro, you gave away an SF secret and you must be terminated with extreme prejudice. Nobody is supposed to tell what's in the munchin' bag, nobody, you were warned. <best soup nazi voice> No knife for you, Next!

Sales of the knife will be handled through "First In Asia".
To the best of my knowledge, yes the serialized and "Crossed Arrows" marked knife will also made available to former 1st SFG(A) Soldiers.

This knife is to commemorate the Fiftieth Anniversary of 1st SFG(A).

The unmarked "civilian" version will be the same knife minus the markings unique to 1st SFG(A) and is called "The Pacific".

At the request of "First In Asia" this knife was designed by me and is being produced at Chris Reeve Knives.
Blade is 6 inches long by 1.5 inches wide and is a short straight clip point. Steel is CPM S-30V.
Handle design is single finger groove with micarta scales that have additional gripping grooves. Top thumb ramp is also grooved.

As already noted here the sheath is a Spec-Ops Brand.

Bill,
Thanks for the info. Is Kevin P. still the POC for the First in Asia "department"? When I purchased the 3rd BN print, and donated to the memorial, he was handling the transactions.

Thank you sir for the information. I will gladly wait in line behind thoughs that need it more than me. First In Asia's Website had order forms. They will shipped or they can be picked up at Lewis. Since I will be at the reunion, I thought I might get one quicker there.
