I have never donated money directly to a candidate before, but if Fred runs, I am sending out a check to his committee the day he announces.
I would challange any other conservatives out there to do the same, or don't bitch when the RINO who is nominated loses, or if he somehow manages to win, votes for more government, higher taxes, more nambyism, less funding for national defense, no tort reform, more gun control, and more restrictions on what you can do with your property.

I should make this a litmus test for my Presidential candidates.
This indicates a complete lack of understanding of crime, criminals, laws, and the Second Amendment to the US Constitution, which ain't about duck hunting, Sir. You are a shameless whore and a tool of the left wing. Move out and draw fire. Punk.
None of them were conservatives, and I hate Hillary, Obama, and Mr $400 Hairdo just as badly.

Agreed !! I've read this entire thead now I'd like to weigh in. NONE Of these men understand or grasp the "constuctionist" model of the U.S. Constitution. Interpretation based on their knowledge or lack there of of the Constitution has alway's been my "Litmus Test" for any candidate for POTUS. Abortion rights have been that test for many years, and I'm a PRO-LIFE christian and staunch libertarian with a constructionist view of the Constitution. M. Romney is now the bitch of the GOP candidates and this statements for an AWB made me turn the channel to a movie on HBO. As mentioned, he's gone from an NRA member, just this year, to a hunter, with limited small game experience, to now supporting a comprimised AWB. His NRA membership card should revoked and a letter sent to him by the NRA President announcing they dont want him as a member of their organization. There should be some good blogging to read in the morning or later even tonight.
Thompson is my pick. If he doesn't run, then I'll most likely stay home when it comes time to punch my chads.
AS for Michael Moore. Fred Thompson is the last guy that this fat piece of shit wants to debate. Debate ? It would be a major embarassment for MM.

Not very impressive showing tonight. Since I am going to take TR up on his offer, is there an opinion on what an appropriate amount would be? The figure I am thinking is $500. Is that too little? And hopefully I donate it at a $250 a plate dinner with him as the guest speaker. Any thoughts? Perhaps I could be convinced to pay $500 a plate!
Regardless of who becomes the GOP, not casting a ballot is surrendering to the socialists. I do not see that as an option.
