I checked out their web site and all I could say was WOW! Those are some nice looking knives. Do any of you guys have any real world experience with them? Im sure they dont compare to the Randall model 14 (LOL), but hey, some of us cant afford those top shelf knives. Even the Striders are pretty pricey. I currently carry a SOG recon bowie(not really as big as a bowie) along with a Benchmade automatic and a wave.

Mr. Harsey is not Hank Hill, though he may be a fan.

In our brief acquaintance, I see him as one of the nicest guys in the world, till it is time to not be nice anymore, then call the hospital and tell them to stand by to receive.

Good man to party with!

Sir Jawbreaker, We just completed the Oregon Knife Show, second only to "Blade Show" in Atlanta in size. I had the two top guys from Crucible Steel (Syracuse New York) out here as guests. This would include the guy who designed CPM S-30V. This is the steel we use in SF knives. Crucible did a seminar on heat treating which is always worth attending. Crucibles table was also next to mine at show (how did that happen?) Dust is still settling from this. Working on both knives and prototyping now. Dump those toy micro grinders you have in your hand and get out here to help! There's work to do!

I would be glad to do it Sir. Would be more than happy to do some grindin' for you/with you. You throw in a fly fishing trip excursion... and I am on my way!

Note:
Wasn't trying to badger you actually, I know you are very busy. I and I am sure many others are glad you frequent this here establishment. Take care Mr. Bill Harsey Jr, Sir.

TR-
It was a continuation of a joke with seƱor Bill. I hope and don't think he was offended.. we are two of a kind concerning the reference.

Strider just did a V42. I posted a pic in the SF Patch thread, this forum. Very nice.

Mr. Harsey, please don't let that damn dentist anywhere near your knives or the process. He'll have you downsizing them and putting pink lace sheaths on them before you know what happened. Purple micarta, etc. Have you seen what he does to firearms? Its outrageous.

Now that Mick is a member, maybe he'll post some pics and i won't have to go borrow them from other places....:munchin

I'll call him and encourage that. If that doesn't work I'll twist his arm in person at Blade Show in Atlanta in June.
