How are things over here, gents?

I stumbled across this the other day - the post by "1sfgjumpmaster" quoted up top, here: http://www.jobrelatedstuff.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=317193&page=6- Yes, on the surface just more internet chest-thumping - and I realize there are as many opinions about this as there are people to have them. However, this guy seems to be insinuating that his connections with 1st SFG give him the expertise to spout this - and that he speaks for "the community" He also seems to lack the realization that there is hardly a consensus on the matter.

Either way, I thought some of you might be interested - my search on recent threads here shows you guys have addressed the Dragon Skin and M4 issues recently.

Here we vet Special Forces soldiers. We have found that some idiots use the fact that they are assigned to a Special Forces unit but they themselves are not in fact a Special Forces soldier. A cook or truck driver assigned to a Special Forces unit might be a jumpmaster, but they are not a qualified Special Forces soldier and they do not wear a Green Beret.

CharlesArbuckle is one such case where an army private assigned to a national guard Special Forces unit was posting on forums here. He is not Special Forces qualified though many on other forums believed he was a Special Forces soldier. CharlesArbuckle is an avid member of tacticalforums.com, he no longer posts on Professionalsoldiers.com. Privates cannot fool us.

You are what you read.

Anyone can pass themselves off as a Special Forces soldier to the general public on the internet; in fact it happens quite often. While you will find many Special Forces fakes/wannabe’s posting on internet forums you will not find them on ProfessionalSoldiers.com.

We will not attempt to ascertain the identity or qualifications of someone posting anonymously on another forum, there are just too many fakes. Again, you are what you read. Feel free to invite this individual to our website.

The same individual has also gotten the attention of the staff on the Lightfighter.com forums as well.
