McCain. End of story. He's the ONLY candidate who has gone on record as saying that winning in Iraq is more important than any personal political ambitions. He's backed it up with his words (easy for a POL), despite the hit in the Polls (not easy for a POL/Candidate).

I had a Team Sergeant who always waited for the generic, "Any questions?" line.

Agree with your assessment of politics, but I think it will happen sooner if the Dems win.
After that there will be a backlash. Frankly, I would require all citizens to swear an oath of loyalty to the United States, and make violating it criminal.

Well if we pull out now we'll be back in 10 years anyway so why bother ?
