Damn, I just talked to him a few months ago.

We did a class for him and SFAUCC in Dec 2005. Ed was one of those guys who was always looking out for his people, and was fair to a fault.

RIP, hermano.

This is a real kick in the gut. Ed was good people and this was a truely senseless accident.

RIP, Bro - You will be missed.

Sounds fishy about the "stolen" truck...

RIP, Bro - You will be missed.

Sounds fishy about the "stolen" truck...

Old '60s era 2-1/2 ton someone left in the road after a breakdown. Owner had not reported it missing yet, but someone had called the Highway Patrol a few minutes before when they drove by and saw it.

Ed hit it with his Toyota truck at nearly full speed.

Tough break, we lose a great NCO.

Ed's funeral is tomorrow in Louisiana.. A few of us are trying to get down there for it. Spoke to another NCO we worked with and there is going to be a memorial at some point, for those of us in this area (Fayetteville)

Ed was a hell of a guy and a good friend. This reminds me of just how precious life really is. We're all at a loss without him.
