Read the stickies. Introduce yourself in the proper place. Fill out your profile.

Use NOAA to get climatic data for the region in which you are going to operate. These questions are answered on the board.

You are a NO GO at this station. You will not be selected for Failure to follow simple instructions.

I am a nice QP, but you failed your first test, wait until some of my brothers get hold of you. Ever been a doggie play toy? These are the guys that will be your assessors/ instructors at SFAS and, God Forbid, the Q... what do you think their initial impression of you is?

Try again at a later date after you have complied with the instructions on the first page of the board.

Have a very SF day.

Yes, and no. There is no sleeping at Selection.

Now do what the nice man asked you to.

That is not really a fair thing to say. If you were here in person, I would kick you in your gonads. There is a diffrence between attention to detail when someone is telling you something important. However, this is a message board. People tend to not read the messages they are not interested in. I just wanted to ask a question. As for the chew toy, bring it on.

Wow. So that's the way you are going to speak to cadre?

Friend, I believe your time in the pipeline may be short-lived indeed. If you think the members on this site can't affect your stay at Bragg, you are HUGELY mistaken.

Ah, getting off on the wrong foot today?

Take care or that old ruck frame will end up out in the hallway.

Do I hear the door opening?

I would not overestimate desire with capability, and threaten people I had not met.

Everything you do in life is important to some extent and attention to detail is never wasted. If you make it to SFAS and stay long enough, you will learn how important it is to follow instructions. You may think that it is an unimportant detail, and it may be more important than you realize. FYI, that is a little test we do here to see who will read instructions and follow them without having being told to. Slackers and back talkers do not do well at SFAS, and we do not want them.

Research shows that immature kids with bad attitudes do poorly at SFAS.

Since you have decided to step into it with both feet and simultaneously show your ass while lacking sufficient SA to be aware of what you are doing, I wish you better luck in your future endeavors. You are indeed a No Go at this station.

Adios, and have a very SF day.

Last time I checked, that's an assault on a non-commissioned officer.

There is nothing "fair" in war. And that teacher that told you there's no such thing as a stupid question, she's wrong.

Please return to the comfort of your couch and watching re-runs of the "A-Team", that's about as close as you will ever be to real Special Forces soldiers.

Stupid is as stupid does.
