Shot of my son taken yesterday while out on patrol in Sadr City with B Trp, 2/325 AIR, 82nd Abn Div drinking tea. The other shot was from his first tour (also in Sadr City) with 3rd Inf Div.

Saw the left pic make the national news, well done! Is that me or does his nametape read "Skeletor?" That is badass.

Haha yea, It took a second for me to realize what the nametape was, at first I thought it was by far the coolest name in history.

Hipshot-
From the name on the Helmet band, and the name on the plate carrier - your son doesn't know which cartoon he's supposed to be in.....:D

Good Stuff! Hope he stays safe.

At 6' 1" and 140 pounds, what else would you call him? He needs to :lifter some serious weight to bulk up - or they need to reinvent 'C' rations.

I was 5' 11" and 147 in Vietnam - that was with a 26" waist and a 50" chest!

Homer would never make it as a Sgt - but maybe Bart would...he was/is a radical dude like Matt!:D

That's chubby! My dad was 5'9", 119 lbs when he joined the AF during Korea. He was 4F'd from the Army for being underweight!! I was 10 pounds heavier and an inch taller than you when I joined the AF and took flak from the TIs for being "underweight".

Great pics, thanks for sharing, and tell your son good luck and great job!
