Got mine Saturday and mailed them off to SFA in Fayetteville (figured I'd save you the postage). This has been an SF day - received my SFA membership card today. Funny thing is my membership number...they must have found my original Decade Assn membership from 1971.

Got my winning ticket today.:D
I asked TS if I could do this......sorry Hipshot, I'm going to try and change the odds of you winning. ;)
I have a challenge for the civilian members of this board: match the ticket sales from the PS.com Military members.
I counted 8 maybe 9 civvies contributing to this raffle. There are more than 9 civilians on this board. Where are the rest?
This is for a fabulous Mr Harsey original and the money goes to SFA.
If for some strange illogical completely incomprehensible reason you don't want to win this knife, pick a QP from this board and put their name on the ticket. Specify the userid and PS.com on the ticket stub. :)
I challenge the civvies on this board to pony-up ! :munchin
check inbound for $100 from another civvie.

Good challenge!
I already decided if I am fortunate enough to win the raffle the knife will go to a QP.

Dinero in mail tonight - prefer nonsequential tickets, small denominations, and a guaranteed winner, that's one sweeet! blade. TR done good in aiding Bill with the design, and the manufacture.... Harsey, 'nuff said.

"prefer nonsequential tickets," not a problem, I'll run your tickets through my new food processor, look for a GladBag with your name on it... :lifter
This is not my gig I'm just the money man. (You'll have to slip a few dinero to the SFA.....;) )

Does a food processor qualify as a G8 level shredder? Probably.
Please do not fold, spindle nor mutilate the tickets - I'll deal with sequential numbers - the only proof I will have that I can actually claim that cool piece of steel.
What's the cash count? Have we hit a grand yet?

Completely different knife, same designer.

So...it might make a good gift should one win the raffle?
Chuck is refusing to use his SF knife because it's "special" and that's a concept I understand but aren't knives kind of handy tools to have and wouldn't a good knife be an important part of your kit?

This would be a special one as well. Knives are handy tools, unless they are collectible and are not replaceable.
Just call Harsey and order one direct, tell Chuck that it is usable, if he breaks it, blows it up, or shoots it, Bill will fix it as long as the story is good enough.:D
For that matter, Chris Reeve will do the same for the Yarborough knives as well. I cannot speak for Chris, and am not positive what he charges, but suspect that if an SF guy used his knife hard and wanted it reconditioned to hang on his wall after retirement or to pass on to his son, they would take care of the matter very reasonably.

:D I'll pass that on.

TR
That is an understatement.
Mr Harsey worked for months on this design ; he did the work specifically for SFA and he wanted to make sure it was absolutely perfect.....and it is. :D

The raffle is over (for professionalsoldiers.com). I'm sending in all the money and tickets ASAP.
If you still want tickets you're going to have to get them through the SFA.;)
We raised $680. Not bad, we'll know soon enough how much the all the other SF chapters raised......
