I had to show this to you gents. I think it could be quite effective--either a soldier is going to scare the enemy to death, or the enemy will die laughing. I've yet to figure out which...

Already, he says, the suit has stood up to bullets from high-powered weapons, including an elephant gun. The suit was empty during the ballistics tests, but he's more than ready to put it on and face live fire.

Maybe the Mech Daddies and Stryker-types could use it :) I do admire the guy's devotion, as he designed this and the suit from Project Grizzly with his own money.

Where's the Star Wars soundtrack when you need it? (Darth Vader Theme)

Hopefully the A/C unit will be a little lighter than the one on my hunting trailer.

I'd drop him in the Everglades or Baghdad (or the Hindu Kush) to demo how mobile and comfy he is in it for a month or so.

...ammo, water, commo, food, medical supplies, batteries, yeah...

100 pounds of high speed gear is still 100 pounds.

Next thing you know, you'll hear Senior Leadership briefng how it will help stop "pre-insurgencies." No shit.
