What is Italy's real agenda ? Does the phrase "Fog of War" have no meaning to them ? What was the ROE on this check point ?

I believe its just a tokin act of appeasement for the Italian public, to make the Italian government look like they were "standing up to" the Amercians. They havent asked for extradition, and know full well if they convict the guy there's not a snowball's chance in hell we'd turn him over after we found no issues with the CP's actions.

ROE's are usually made pretty clear upfront. The Italian agent didn't magically appear for a hostage negotiation. Someone in that vehicle knew they were F'n up.
I'd rather see the headline read "Italian Government Charged with Treason in War on Terror".
