The National World War II Memorial will be dedicated on Saturday, May 29, 2004 in Washington DC. While perusing their website, I noticed they have a "Registry of Remembrances". You can add the names of your loved ones or someone else you want to honor for service in World War II. The URL for the registry is below.

I know I never verbally told my father I appreciated what he did in WWII or in Korea. Now that he is gone I wished I had. I added his name to the registry.

I found my uncle who was killed on Iwo Jima

I forwarded the link to my mom and she printed out the record for her brother

My grandpappy wasnt on there but he was in Battle of Iwo Jima as infantry. I dont know his unit or I would add him.
