It's rather early, but I'm thankful to live in the land of the free because of the brave. My thanks to all who are, or have, served...and to those of you in harm's way my special thanks and prayers.

Anyway, happy thanksgiving guys and gals. Hope you all have a good time with family and friends and for the guys in the sandbox, stay safe out there.
Was an article in the paper yesterday of the US Ambassador carving up a giant turkey for the occassion for a Thanksgiving dinner the Embassy put on. This must be new with the new Ambassador since they didn't do it when I was around.
Hope he's reinstated the Superbowl party/schmooze, come to think of it.
