The first attached image was made back when this Kerry comment was first said...look closely at the second image, it's a photograph plastered on the frontpage of many newspapers across America this morning and was taken yesterday in Bagram after a suicide bombing.

True, apologies on that account. But on closer analysis, I think you may find the name tape has been doctored.... So a little digital enhancement has taken place.

If it was edited then the original AP photo was doctored before it was distributed. I first noticed the nametape when viewing the hardcopy of our Fayetteville Observer Newspaper and found the exact same photo on numerous big name news' web sites nationwide.
