I'm looking to sell my blue law enforcement training weapon which is great for ruck marches, btw, however I'm moving to Southern California, and I fear being shot by an overenthusiastic police officer while rucking at a local park. I'm looking to sell it for 70$ plus applicable shipping, or for trade (I'm thinking along the lines of a Pimsleur Language I of Farsi, or Lesson 2 of Russian.) Pictures will be available upon request.

Wow, your worried about being shot by an over enthusiastic police officer because you have a ring's blue gun.
Just an FYI we use ring's blue guns for training as well.

That is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

I'm aware police officer's using training weapons such as these. But, with my experience at public parks, if a young man such as myself were running or excercising in the early hours of the morning, the police were often called by overly cautious elderly people who assumed I was on drugs, and I'd usually be frisked by a police officer. I'm not questioning the professionalism of police officers, but I'm planning on moving to Orange, Ca. I can just imagine a scenario where I'm rucking in limited light, and someone calls from their apartment saying they see someone walking around a local park with an assault weapon. I'm just trying to minimize my risk of death, I'm really not taking the piss at police officers. Also, I think your assesment of this being one of the dumbest things you've ever heard is incorrect. As I've suffered from frequent police harassment in the past--being that I was olive-skinned, and had long hair--frequent friskings and police harassment was the order of the day. I was accused of being homeless while perusing a mall--and I was arrested for public intoxication when it was really something more akin to vagrancy, but as certain areas in Texas do not have vagrancy laws, it became a matter of officer's discretion. I volunteered for a urinanalysis, and blood test, and was plainly refused by the local police department. So I dont think it's stupid to assume you might be shot by a police officer when he might rightly assume you have an assault rifle which just might be discolored by the moonlight or lack thereof.

When I was training up I didn't want to carry my Rubber training weapon either. Draws to much attention in public places. Try using a PVC Pipe filled with sand or a metal pipe. You will blend in since many people walk and run with these for fending off dogs.
