I received a package on Friday from a member of this Board containing a number of unassembled parts, with instructions to assemble, photograph and post. So I am complying. ;)

Maybe there should be a poll of the "usual suspects"? :D
Since I have first hand knowledge I won't guess. :D

When I heard I was getting a bunch of unassembled parts, I was hoping for an 18B project . . . Oh well. :D

Better than an 18D Project ;)

Do the jaws work?
On the shark or RL?

Looks like practice for court to me - unless you can put your opponent together, you can't take him apart, piece by piece - kind of a lawyer anatomy lesson, notice - there was no heart.... but the jaws were very detailed.

Hey man, gotta have toys on the desk, and it seemed just 'wrong' enough.
Next time, maybe a GI Joe recoilless rifle to put together, if one can even be found any more, the kind you had to put together. Or instructions on building a "funnelator" - fun toy, but would not go over very well in a Law Firm, liability issues and all.....

I had the SF GI Joe my mom got me for Christmas in 1969 or so. He had a cool Bazooka that shot plastic rounds!!

On my desk at home, I have a long haired (pink), sunglass wearing, earring wearing, naked troll, with a GI Joe 7th Grp Beret - wish Hasbro had made a 10th Grp beret for GI Joe. My brother actually found the beret while doing some work at my folks in Asheville after they moved down - he gave it to me (I wonder why?) and it fit the troll (a gift from my ex)... so it's been guarding my computer for about 12 years now... maybe I'll see about getting a picture of it.
Anybody have a miniature Rolex or Tag ... need to keep up the 70's - 80's SF perceptions.
Better than an 18D Project or an 18C project...those are good for disassembling things...
so, RL...what do you bill the shark out at...?:p

RL now needs an 18C to build a nice stand for the assembled shark, that has a small chip in the bottom that plays the "Jaws" theme - as an intimidation tactic for opponents, and a morale booster for clients.

Something like this?

lrd-
I was thinking a stand made of 'inert' demo parts, with the chip hidden inside and the shark resting on top of a 5.56 or 7.62 NATO round - a little more PS.com type engineering. Any 18Cs want to team up with an 18E to craft this for our 'in-house' counsel? Mr. Shark (the plastic one, not the lawyer) does have a small hole for a stand in it's belly, well I guess the same thing goes for our esteemed counsel too - guys build 2 of them, one small for the plastic shark, one big one for the human shark.:D
Now that would scare the hell out of the senior partners and the opponents!

Especially if it played the Jaws theme and Mack the Knife! lol

RL-
How do you feel about lrd's idea - we could skewer you on a Harsey GB knife above a pile of UXO/C4 while you hum the Jaws theme, then you could break into Mack the Knife. We'd have plenty of Deltas to fix you up.... as long as the Charlies don't, well, you know, do their thing with the demo.
lrd- remember to bring lots of plastic sheeting for this and some backup, I think RL might squirm a little, initially, at least. :D
