Greetings

I have just returned from Iraq serving as an Infantryman in a National Guard unit and as result I am a different man. It was an experience that changed my life.

Re-enlisting into the Army and deployment was a direct result of finding this website one late night, reading it for quite some time, and putting into action some of what I learned here.

Because of this website and the people who populate it, I relearned some lessons that seemed to have faded, and learned some new ones as well.

Though I am not Special Forces, because of Special Forces I am a better soldier, nurse, husband, and father. I have you to thank.

Thank you for all you do, the sacrifices you made and make, and setting the example for the rest of us-

Thank you so very much

ccrn

Note: This is not about me or a pat on the back. This is about Professional Soldiers.com and the men who created it.

Welcome home and thanks for taking up the torch from those of us that can do so no longer.

Sir, I'd like to think you still carry the torch. You've just switched hands. Through the lessons you're teaching here to the next generation, you continue to do your duty.

Just my .02, but I think that's why ccrn started this thread.

CCRN-
It seems more like you decided to take a look inside, and make some personal changes, a conscious effort. Congratulations. Thanks for getting out there and doing it, nobody forced you. I second Col Moroney's sentiments, you've taken up the torch from those of us that are out of the game.
