Flat Daddy article (http://www.boston.com/news/local/articles/2006/08/30/guard_families_cope_in_two_dimensions/)

``I prop him up in a chair, or sometimes put him on the couch and cover him up with a blanket," said Kay Judkins of Caribou, whose husband, Jim, is a minesweeper mechanic in Afghanistan. ``The cat will curl up on the blanket, and it looks kind of weird. I've tricked several people by that. They think he's home again."

Kinda makes my wonder what other weird things she might be doing with her cardboard hubby! This has got to be more of that "Army of One" crap.

Whatever it takes to get by I guess! But what happen to, "Suck it up Honey, I'll be home next year." Oh yeah, she left with the kids and divorced me, she even tried to take the dog!

That's it. I quit. That's just too freaky for me. If I had kids, I'd probably come home and find darts in the eyes or something.
