Gentlemen,
Recently I've begun to serach for a new plate carrier aside from the issued IBA - while driving on convoys I can't friggin move and I'd rather sacrifice a little of the side protection for more mobility. There's a few that I've got my eye on, but I thought this would open the door for another discussion on gear. Oh yea, if anyone happens to know of a good plate carrier that works well while mounted, I'm always up for suggestions!

What carrier do you use, and why?
What are the benefits vs. disadvantages of the carrier?
Did you modify it in any way, howso and why?

Those where the only questions I could think of off the top of my head, but I'm sure there's some aspect I have not thought of.

Respectfully,
PFC Fonz

Have you read all 28 threads that mention plate carrier yet?

There was a good one a while back by Hoplite about the Wasatch and the SOtech Callahan. Good stuff about mounted wear and space while in the truck. Check it out.

Apolagies, I was in a rush to post before I left for a small field problem that I forgot to do a little research before posting. Thanks for putting me in the right direction, I think I found something that will work.
