A husband read an article to his wife about how many words women use a day...
30,000 to a man's 15,000.
The wife replied, "The reason has to be because we have to repeat everything to men...
The husband then turned to his wife and asked, "What?"
The husband then turned to his wife and asked, "What?"i'm seeing a 13:1 ratio here...she will repeat her comment and he will feign listening and respond "Oh..."

Eventually, he'll learn how to communicate and just answer "uh huh" to everything she says. :D

That's an easy one...
Me to her: "Yesterday at work, I had an SSL server crash on me. It turned out that not only had the client certificate expired, but the TRCA cert was bad too. To add to the nightmare, one of my coworkers had somehow managed to set it to DHCP. So first I had to check the spreadsheet we have saved on the samba server to find the correct IP Address. Then I had to...

That's an easy one...Once her eyes unglazei've been married longer than you've been alive...she will soon reach a threshold of tolerance and will develop a resistance...she will counter by telling you about her day...then she will want to hear more...soon, you will have nothing left to say...

<taking notes> What about OPSEC? Can't you plead silence based on OPSEC?
--Aric
I want a recount. I know the ratio is higher in the south. About 10:1 I would guess.
What about OPSEC? Can't you plead silence based on OPSEC?it doesn't work...women aren't interested in the cool stuff, anyway...mostly, they want you to talk about them in glowing, endearing terms...

Wouldn't work in my household..... nor Frontsight's either I reckon.
Instead you would get mired in a discussion of how your security is lacking if a co-worker has the access to "accidentally" change a server from a static IP to DHCP.... and then a discussion about host tables and what would you do if that Samba server goes down .... is that the only place you are storing IP data? If so, you should really consider.......

What about noise cancelling head-phones? The benefit of an adjustable hearing aid, without having to lose your hearing...
