Question about basic for an 18-X

I have a quick question that I hope I am posting in the right location and is geared mainly toward recent graduates. I leave for OSUT on 5 Sept and have heard and read various things about our platoons in basic. Do they group all the 18-X's into a platoon or does it just depend on the basic class?

Here's a tip. From this point on... ignore ALL rumors you hear. Deal with things as they come your way and you'll lead a much less stressful life in the Army. That's what I learned.
