With all respect to the General even that thing has something that moves. + Batteries?

The faster it shoots the more ammo you have to carry.

Everbody can find a neat toy that does nifty tricks but will it apply to the average grunt?

Why not mount it as a warhead on an anti-ballistic interceptor? Easier targetting program for the missile and the last leg before destruction becomes more flexible. If more power is needed, mount explosives on it. Would also be reusable. Just a thought...

Nice idea but three rounds through the same hole is going to do a lot of good on human tissue. 2nd and third rounds might not do any damage and actually zip through the human body placing anything behind the target in extreme danger.

When they remove the bullet and deliver all the "energy" directly I'll be impressed.
