News Friday morning on Naser Oric, the Muslim warlord of Srebrenica, was convicted of war crimes (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/5132684.stm) by the Hague Inquisition and sentenced to less than time he has spent in prison to date. WTF?? Upon hearing the verdict, he smiled and brandished a Cuban cigar. Three days later, he returned to Bosnia to a hero's welcome.

I didn't even recognize him from the Picture.

Some background for 10th SFG guys that don't know the history on Srebrenica (http://www.srebrenica-report.com/Oric2.htm).

1st Report (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/3719434.stm)of Naser being caught or going before the Hague.

I'd mentioned this in another JCO post also. Good info for those guys that worked the southeastern region or have a thing for BiH war history. Oric is definitely a well known figure in BiH. He lives in Tuzla and was running a gym prior to being sent to the hague. Here's a good interview Bill Schiller did with Naser http://www.srebrenica-report.com/Oric2.htm
