Here's a guy that tried to cancel his AOL account. Good stuff.

I saw this on the news the other day while at work, they were playing the whole tape. I can't imagine how pissed off I would have been, I was pissed off just listening to it!

OMG that customer was being wayyy too nice.
The news reported that the AOL employee was fired as a result.
Sad thing it's true. I just got DSL in the sticks where I live. I hade two AOL Accounts and had to call up to cancel. Won't let you do it online. It took over thirty minutes not including waiting for a live person. Offered me three deals to stay on. They asked me over three times why I canceling. To top it all off it was some Ahab in Pakistan........wheeew feel better know, thanks

I went through that fiasco about 12 years ago - never looked back - AOHell should be out lawed for anybody that knows anything about computers - or doesn't have kids.
I was not as nice as that guy nor as patient - NDD, I bet was about as patient and polite as you would be - I was trying to figure out how to strangle the guy through the phone line.
Now that was funny - I would have gone postal on him and them got his higher or Super

I don't think I'd be as nice and as patient as NDD would have been. They would have worn out the "Bleep" button, on my recording.
