Some of you may already know this and if so excuse my ignorance and tardiness. I wonder if we will adopt it?

Looks almost identical to the US M67 Frag to me.

Yes she does, but I'm willing to bet that the Swiss discovered a better "internal" fragmentation pattern than ours. When the 67 goes off, it throws mostly large and small fragments. The large fragments can be up to a third the size of the original body. The smaller ones lack any aerodynamic qualities that would give them any lethality unless a hit in uprotected soft areas of the body are obtained. Not a great disruption in the overall shape of the grenade. The M67 has always suffered from a lack of predictability with its raised internal "dimple" pattern. The principal is a good one but inferior to the modern Frag's that use a Polymer body with small shot or BB's embedded. I believe the Swiss original and this L10A1 have a more aggressive and raised internal pattern while still keeping the grenade body metallic. Then again I could be wrong.:)

Just an observation.
