This is one of the best kids' movies I have ever seen, and perhaps one of the best movies I've ever seen, period. I would compare it to The Incredibles. Great for kids, but also hysterical for adults because there is a lot of parody that the kids won't get, but you'll love.

I have to agree. Just got back from seeing this film. Has to be one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. There were parts that I was howling at and others that just made me cry, I was laughing so hard. The end scene I was laughing so hard, only dogs could hear me...."Play". It's amazing what they can do with animation now.
I also give it Two thumbs way up.

My wife and 8 year old both gave it an "A". The kids in the theater seemed to love it and my kid's in line to go again with her friends.
I'd give it a "C+". Couldn't get into it...seemed to rehash cliches from the other animated flicks...didn't like the characters much. (Squirrel was a rough rip-off of the chipmunk thing from Ice Age - for example).

My kids loved this movie. Even my four year old who would rather be doing than watching only got bored and wanted to leave once during the movie (a record for her). My wife and I also liked it although we liked Hoodwinked, which we have also seen recently, better.
