Need SWAT help

I have been asked to try out for a SWAT medic position by the officer of our SWAT team. I have about six months before try-outs I am looking for suggestions on what would be useful information. I am a paramedic/firefighter and I have no tactical training. I am open to all information but mostly I am looking for tactical information. I do have a plan for gaining this info but steel sharpens steel. Thanks in advance.

Your tryouts should consist of a P.T. test, pistol qual (maybe rifle qual), and an oral board. As far as the TTP's you will need to know, you will be taught how they want you to do things after you make selection. Atleast that is how it is done here. YMMV.
