Any 18Es have any books, courses, or other training aids that they recommend for getting a head start on the 18E program?

I know computers like the back of my hand, and I'm really comfortable with ethernet based wired communications.

I'm more interested in expanding my knowledge of radio and satellite communications so that I'm a more attractive and knowledgable candidate for 18E. Plus, I can never know how much.

Keith,

I've seen posts in the past about radios and 18E knowledge. Use the search button. Second, Google works, too.

Have you signed a contract yet? If so, put it in your profile. If not, don't worry about what MOS you might possible get, worry about getting a contract, passing your physical, getting through OSUT, getting selected, etc.

25 meter target, as the saying goes.

keith,

I understand your enthusiasm, but Kyobanim is correct. 25 meter targets! I am in the 18E course now and the fact that you understand computers like the back of your hand already puts you ahead of the game. PT, be a great soldier and never quit and you will achieve your goals! Good luck to you!

Ok, I have to go and study!!!
