Anybody want to try and guess what lake this is in the approximate middle of this map, just northwest of Ban Tala?

Need a hint?
It is mentioned in just about every book on SOG and especially in Mr. Greco's book "Running Recon".
One more hint:
It is well known by SOG and was used as a reference point.

Edited to add that it was actually close to the Golf Course.
AM, it was the part about it being a "reference point" wasn't it?:)

Try what?? What co-ords are you looking at. Yes as to the reference point, there were many many familiar points out there!!
