Na it's probably a water gun. :D The interesting part is that she said it's a "matching" pair of guns, like she's putting together a wardrobe or something.
Did she say, she bought a pair of hose? Without pictures, what else can we say?
Edited to add, Maye the same pair of shoes but in a different color.

Maybe a an AR-15 variant and a pistol version like the Carbon 15 or the Bushmaster?

The longer you make a bunch of guys wait for a 'surprise', the sooner they lose interest and move on to other things and couldn't give a damn about the surprise anymore. Its that whole Mars/Venus thing.
