Possible clarification?

Hey guys.
I'm new here, obviously and have been researching into the SF career field, along with others due to my considerations on going into the US Army.
I'm a bit confused on the current lay-out of the pipleine and have gone through this section trying to figure it out. Maybe I just need to read it all again.
The two things which I'm having difficulty coming to a firm understanding on is how SOPC and SERE currently fits in.
On the SOPC issue, I've read different articles/posts stating it was an 18X thing only, and others stating that it is now folded into SFAS itself.
On the SERE issue, I've read that is now folded into Phase II prior to MOS training. Is this true or does it still sit at the end of the pipeline.
I've been going off the sticky on this board, but it's date is 2004, and it seems quite a bit is changed since then.

That site should have everything you want to know. It was down for about 3 months while everything was being updated. They even have a nice little flow chart of the new Pipeline if you look hard enough.

One step at a time. The current answer to your first question can be found in the book "Get Selected". SERE is too far down the pipeline to have questions about.
